Who We Are

We are a group of people passionate about all things dahlia. With the goal of having fun and sharing our love of dahlias, we are always learning and growing together.

The Gettysburg Dahlia Society was formed by Annie Radcliff on February 7, 2007. We were given a certificate confirming that we are a recognized participating member of the American Dahlia Society on August 8, 2012.

This year will be our 17th year of hosting the Gettysburg Annual Dahlia Society Show!

“In the Victorian Era, when floriography (the language of flowers) was all the rage, dahlias were given as symbols of devotion, love, beauty and dignity. These meanings still hold true in modern times.”
